We had one entire side of our fence come down during the storms. I had used Allen County Fence before at a different property previously, so called them for this job. The work was done in half a day to replace the entire side, including taking the remaining fence down and removing the posts (some of which had broken off). I am very happy with the crew, the new fence and the cleanup after they were finished. I will be using them again to replace the other sides of my fence and highly recommend them.

The crew came out and got our fence done in 3 days. They asked questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The fence looks great and we are super happy with the final product! I would highly recommend using them.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cost of building a fence depends on the total linear footage, fence material, style, and the number and type of gates required. Pressure-treated pine is the most economical option for privacy fencing, while aluminum and vinyl offer long-term value with lower maintenance.

Want to get a better idea of fence cost? Use our fence estimate tool.

That depends on your needs and preferences. If privacy is your top priority, a 6 ft wooden privacy fence or vinyl privacy fence is a great choice. For open views or decorative appeal, especially near ponds or green space, aluminum fences are popular in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. We’ll gladly walk your yard and help you choose the right style that meets HOA guidelines and enhances your space.
Typically, a fence belongs to the property owner on whose land it was installed. If there’s uncertainty, contact your county assessor or hire a property surveyor. Allen County Fence does not perform land surveys or mark property lines.

Our pine fencing products are pressure-treated to make them resistant to insects, rot, and damage. However, our cedar fencing is naturally resistant to insects, rot, and decay. Therefore, cedar fences do not usually require pressure treatment.

Our aluminum, vinyl, and chain link fences require minimal maintenance. These are great choices for long-term durability, especially in the Midwest climate. Wood fences may need periodic sealing or treatment to maintain their appearance.
Yes! We offer financing through Three Rivers Federal Credit Union for qualifying customers. Ask about financing options during your consultation.
We accept cash, business and personal checks, major credit cards, and offer financing for qualified customers.

When fences are installed using pre-fabricated panels, fencing slopes and irregular ground levels can be difficult to properly fence. You will usually get large gaps at the bottom areas and uneven capping.

We do NOT use pre-fabricated fence panels. We build custom fences. Custom fences (or stick-built fences) allow us to better follow the lay-of-the-land (topography) and gives a much smoother transition. We can include custom transitions as an upgrade to your fence installation.

The turnaround time for fence installation depends on several factors such as type of fence, length of fence to be installed, and site conditions. Project time would also be affected by the removal of any existing fence if required. Usually, our installation takes 2 days here in the Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio area. If we’re also removing an old fence, the total time would be 3 to 4 days. Please ask your sales representative for scheduling details.

Each fence comes with a different type of warranty or guarantee of performance. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on vinyl and aluminum products. Wood does not have a warranty.
All craftsmanship is under warranty. Please see the warranty section of our Resources page for complete details.

Better Fence Pickets

We build with only the best fence pickets. These are not the typical fence pickets anyone can buy from the local big-box stores. We have partnered with suppliers to provide the highest quality wood fencing materials.

Stronger Posts

We understand that your fence is only as strong as your posts. This is why we take great care to use the strongest posts, free of defects. We not only offer heavy-duty wood posts but also offer metal posts for an even stronger post.

All high-quality posts are built to ensure that your fence stands strong for years to come.

Enhances Curb Appeal

Masonry fences are not only a durable way to protect your property, they are also beautiful. Adding a masonry fence is a great way to quickly add curb appeal to your property that will last for years. Unlike wood fences which can be susceptible to termites, mold and fungus, masonry fencing is naturally pest-proof, fire-proof, and low-maintenance.

High Security Fencing

Security fences keep your property safe from trespassers and provide safety and protection to the area the fence encloses. A masonry fence creates a solid, protective barrier to ensure the security of your yard and your family.

Noise Reduction

A noise reduction fence is an excellent way to create a relaxing, quieter environment for your yard. A masonry fence built between a noise source and your home provides an effective sound barrier and will reflect noise away from your yard – leaving you with a quiet oasis.

Low-Maintenance

As one of the largest plastic recyclers in the U.S., Trex saves 400 million pounds of plastic and wood from landfills each year.

Stronger Fencing

Compared to wood, vinyl fencing is much stronger. Vinyl fencing is flexible and durable, which helps vinyl out-perform wood fencing in windy conditions and with environmental exposure to UV rays and weather.

Coated Galvanized Steel

All of our aluminum fences are coated inside and out. Our aluminum fence panels are fabricated through a welding technique that combines laser and fusion technology to create a virtually invisible structural connection at every picket-to-rail intersection.

Our team’s expertly crafted construction is unmatched in strength and durability.
